Notes
In EzPartsWeb a note is a text attached to a specific resource or part which gives additional information about that resource or part.
There are two types of notes in EzPartsWeb and they are displayed in the Notes window:
- Resources - These are notes provided by the manufacturer to give additional information about the resource being displayed in the
Resource Display Area. The number of notes, attached to the displayed resource, is noted on the Resources tab.
- Parts - These are notes provided by the manufacturer to give additional information about the part selected in the parts list table.
The number of notes, attached to the highlighted part, is noted on the Parts tab.
Notes on Notes:
- Priority notes alert the user to very important information about the resource. It is denoted with an exclamation mark and pops up in a window that the
user must acknowledge by clicking the Close button to continue work with EzPartsWeb.
- By default the Notes window will appear or disappear depending if the selected resource has an attached note or not.
- The icon in the Schematic Parts List Area
signifies that the part in that row has a note attached to it.
- If the Notes window is hidden it can be shown in one of three ways:
