Serial Search

EzPartsWeb can search through serial numbers assigned to models by manufacturers. Use the following steps to search for models using serial number:

1. Click the tab with the magnifying glass on the Navigation Tree or the Search button on the Main Toolbar to open a new Search tab.



2. Click on the Serial section to perform search using serial numbers.

3. Select series from the Series drop-down list.



4. Enter serial number into the Serial field. Refer to the Rules for Entering Search String article for the information on how to make up the search query more efficiently.



5. Click the Search button or press Enter on the keyboard to start the search process.

6. The search results will be displayed on the Models tab in the right section of the window. Click on the model name, to navigate to it in the tree.
